From Barcelona and Tarragona. Take the AP7 motorway Girona-bound until Exit 8 (Aeroport-Cassà). At the roundabout, follow the C-25 (Eix Transversal) towards Vic until you reach Exit 225 (Olot). Take the C-63 towards Olot.
After going through the second tunnel (Sant Esteve d’en Bas), you will reach a roundabout: here, turn right towards Olot - Les Preses. A few metres later, turn left towards Joanetes, on the GIV 5273. Follow the signs to Joanetes until you reach the Hotel Vall de Bas. After passing the hotel, you will see a sign saying PLANA DE BAS. Turn right in this direction and continue for another 500 metres until you reach the house, where you will find the “'El Rourell” signs.

From Lleida: Take the C-25 (Eix Transversal) towards Girona. Continue until reaching Exit 225 (Olot). There, take the C-63 towards Olot. From this point on, follow the indications as if coming from Barcelona.

From Girona: Follow the same route as from Barcelona after you reach the C-25 (Eix Transversal). You can also take the road from Salt to Bescanó and Angles and from there take the C-63 towards Olot.
Another option is to go via Banyoles to Olot and follow the C-152 towards a Les Preses. A few kilometres after Les Preses, turn right towards Joanetes.
